About us

Supermover is the trading name of SUPER MOVER LIMITED, company number 08847125, registered in England and Wales. Our registered office is 100 Church Street, Brighton, East Sussex, BN1 1UJ. Our operating address is 246 Old Shoreham Road, Southwick, Brighton, BN42 4LT.

Your booking

These terms apply to removals and related services agreed with us. Your written quotation and booking confirmation set out the services, collection and delivery addresses, dates, price and any specific arrangements. An enquiry or request for a quote does not itself confirm a booking. Your booking is confirmed when we confirm our acceptance in writing.

Quotes and payment

Your quote will identify the work included and any agreed packing, materials, dismantling, reassembly or other charges. Any applicable taxes and unavoidable charges will be made clear before you book. Quote validity and payment methods will be stated in our correspondence.

A deposit of 20% of the agreed price is required to reserve your booking. The remaining 80% is payable after completion of the agreed work. Changes to the scope or price must be discussed and agreed before additional work is carried out.

Preparing for your move

Please provide accurate information about the items to be moved, floor levels, stairs, lifts, parking, loading access and building restrictions at both addresses. Let us know about fragile, high-value, unusually heavy or hazardous items before booking so that we can agree appropriate arrangements and confirm whether we can handle them.

Keep personal documents, keys and essential medicines with you. Where you pack items yourself, use suitable packing and tell us about anything requiring particular care. Any specific exclusions, packing responsibilities or access arrangements must be agreed before the move.

Changes, cancellation and deposits

Contact us promptly if your moving date or requirements change. The deposit reserves the agreed booking and is not automatically transferable to a different date or customer; changes require our written agreement.

If you cancel, we may retain an amount from the deposit to cover losses reasonably incurred as a direct result of your cancellation. Any amount retained must be fair, taking account of costs saved and reasonable steps to reduce our losses, including rebooking the work. We will explain any deduction and refund any balance due. The deposit is not automatically forfeited in every circumstance.

If we cancel without fault by you, payments for services not provided will be refunded. Nothing in this policy limits any refund or other remedy to which you are entitled by law.

Statutory cancellation rights

A contract for transport of goods on a specific date or during a specific period can be exempt from the usual 14-day cancellation right for distance or off-premises contracts. Where a statutory cancellation right applies to your booking or to a separate service, we will provide the relevant information before you are bound by the contract. These terms do not remove any cancellation right that applies by law.

Care, insurance and claims

We will carry out the agreed services with reasonable care and skill. We hold goods-in-transit and public liability insurance, subject to the policies’ terms, limits and exclusions. Please discuss high-value or unusual items with us before booking so that any relevant cover requirements can be checked.

Tell us promptly if you believe an item has been lost or damaged, providing your booking details, a description and any relevant photographs or documents. We will investigate and explain the next steps, including any insurer involvement where appropriate. Our insurance arrangements do not replace or restrict your statutory rights or any responsibility we have to you under the law.

Questions and complaints

Please contact super.mover@hotmail.com or 07725 077 018 with your booking details and a description of the issue so that we can investigate and respond.

Your legal rights

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, or restricts your mandatory consumer rights. If a provision is unenforceable, that does not affect the remaining terms or your legal rights.
